Default Watching the FBs...

I know Barnes had a good day on special teams, but I'm watching him at FB and he's just not very good. He had a one on one with a LB and the LB knocked him backwards. I saw Martin with a one on one with a LB and the LB went backwards. I know special teams is important, but so is our running game. If our starting FB is getting knocked backwards on a regular basis we won't run the ball very well.

I think Martin is our FB despite the fact that Barnes is better on special teams.

First play of the second quarter Torrin Tucker got beat BADLY by the LE. I know Testaverde isn't very mobile, but he's Michael Vick compared to Chad Hutchinson. If that were Chad on that play, it's a sack. Vinny did a good job avoiding the pressure on the play.

Two plays later... RA and JJ the two RBs in a split back formation. JJ lead blocks for RA on what ended up a 6 yard run. JJ didn't Jamar Martin the guy, but at least he occupied him. Not bad for a Tailback. Still don't want to see JJ lead blocking too often.

Just saw a f'in BULLS**T, CHEAPSHOT ILLEGAL block on Stewart. #69 was holding Stewart up when Hopkins (their starting LT) came sprinting and took out Stewart's legs. That's F'IN ILLEGAL. Where the F**K was the flag on that one? That kind of s**t ends careers. Freakin' POS dirty a$$ Cheapshot artist &%$#.

Okay, I'm going to pop in here real quick so that Rack doesn't have to do a 50+ post thread all by himself.

lol...I have to admit, Rack, I enjoy reading your posts. You can be quite funny with your remarks - especially regarding topics about old QB's who aren't with this team.

Btw, the dog in your profile - is that a husky or an alaskan malamute?

It's a syberian Husky. His name is Kody.

By the way, this Michelle Tafoya chick... she's not the most attractive chica I've ever seen, but she just has this "look" to her, makes me wanna... well, I won't go XXX on the board, but you get the idea.

some people have said Martin isn't valuable because he is one dimensional and doesn't contribute on STs. I think his one dimension (blocking) is very valuable. Its like having a really fast guard coming out of the backfield. He blows guys up.

Agree totally on Barnes. Looks good on ST, stinks as a FB.

Watching Vinny play is making me chuckle. All offseason I heard what a statue he was and how he was going to get teed up on every play. He looks more than mobile enough for me. He is no Vick, but he can get out and move if needed and can avoid the rush. He is also no end of the career Aikman, who really was a statue. Vinny will be fine.

Michelle Tafoya...what! Were you drinking when you said that?
