Default Columbo - not Witten - whiffed on FG block

news report: The body of Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Marc Columbo was recovered from a New Jersey river tonight, with the words "You are who I thought you were" inscribed on his bald head with a marker containing fingerprints that have been traced to that of head coach Dennis Green. It is believed that Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells hired and paid Green to have Columbo whacked. Parcells was picked up by police today after being spotted at an illegal dogfighting event, and declined comment. Green was picked up after being chased down a highway in Los Angeles and told reporters that the police were who he thought they were

On FG protection you always block DOWN. That's the way it's been on every team I've ever been on.

Witten blocked OUT. It was Witten's fault.

I disagree. I think we're cursed. That is what caused us to lose protection on a play that is run 1000 times in the year, at least. It was black magic.

There was absolutely no winning this game. To the dropped TO pass. To the missed Williams interception. To the botched field goal protection. To a gazillion penalties for unknown reason. Sometimes, you just can't beat the "voodoo" forces at work.
Is there any reward for good other than good?

Exactly who was Colombo blocking down on? His own teammate?

the outcome of this game is bigger than that one play. We had numerous plays that could have put the nail in the coffin...and we don't make them. Romo can't take that sack. TO cannot drop that pass. Roy has to intercept that ball. Skylar Green ADDS ZERO to our attack. WE SHOW NO SENSE OF URGENCY!!!! That part I do not get. Are we mentally and physically beat up during the week...because we show little burst across the board

It's not man to man blocking on FGs. You block a gap. He was blocking down on his gap LIKE HE WAS SUPPOSE TO.
