No way can I see another OLB/Tweener in round 1.
No way... not after drafting Carpenter.
AND we're much thinner at NT than we are at OLB.

I really don't see NT in the first round. Those guys are a dime a dozen in day 2. We drafted Carpenter as a LOLB and he may turn out to be one, but color me skeptical.

Any of you guys seen Jarvis Moss from Florida? Hes a tweener and looks pretty darn good.
Also if you want an amazing Free Safety Reggie Nelson from Florida is your guy.
Personally I think hes better than Landry or anyone else.

I hope you are right. I was all for keeping Watkins in this year. Benching him seemed pretty pre-mature IMO, espically since he is back out there already. What could he learn in the 2 or 3 weeks? He had a lot of time to sit there and think about how he messed up... I'd rather call him out, play him, and let him prove himself w. a chip on his shoulder.
I know you can do it 2 5.

Branch from UM could be a guy teams go after in the 1st. Satruday might get him a lot more attention depending on his performance against OSU.

You aren't kidding. If the front 7 could get pressure those guys and Newman could handle business. I think faith would be restored in AH as well.

This is his High School Highlights, but you will see why. He has gotten better every year since this stuff.

I'd take Reggie Nelson from Florida over Landry.
Nelson is a freak.

Unless there's some other glaring hole that shows up between now and April (assuming Carp/Burnett step up), it does look like it will be BPA.

He'll drop once Juniors declare. Last I saw he was 9. Peterson and Calvin Johnson for example.
Safeties always drop.

Why on earth does that team get down into a 3 point stance on kickoffs?
Edit: Wow, there's some crazy plays in that clip. Gotta love high school football.

I like Merriweather of Miami and Griffin of Texas as well.
I think Laron Landry is better than all of them.

All I know is the best prospect i've ever seen at safety is at Miami and its not Merriweather.
Kenny Phillips when its said and done might be the best safety to ever play the game.
He was the Defensive player of the year in Highschool. Not his state but the nation.
Then he stepped on the field at Miami and beat out a very good safety and made All American as a Freshmen.
Hes only a true sophomore so watch out for this kid.
His coaches say he is the best safety prospect they've ever coached.
Hes like a mix of Ed Reed and Sean Taylor.

Alright Hos, let's see what you know.
Who is the 2nd best CB in the Pac-10? Here's a hint, he plays on your favorite college team.

I like Phillips a lot.
Laron is a true FS and would help us immensely.
