I remember seeing video of a HS game back in the 80's that had the teams trading kickoffs. It was the craziest thing I had ever seen. Anyone remember that?

I was at that game. You had the amazing build up and thrill of the comeback only to have a knife stabbed in the heart. I could barely speak when I left. Ugh. An amazing game to watch with your own eyes but painful to remember.

The play by play annoucer is Eddy Clinton.
His daughter Allison Clinton was somewhat of a friend of mine back in high school at Plano. Some of you may have recognized the name Allison Clinton as she has gained some notoriety recently due to some affair allegation involving country singer Sara Evans. She is in Nashville trying to break into country music. But that is her dad Eddy on the broadcast. He ended up being on Letterman and some other shows because of it. |
