yes he gave up big plays...all CBs do....
here is the skinny on Ross....when he plays tight on the WR, he is lockdown. However, when he plays off the WR, he gives up catches and big plays.
So just play him on the WR at the snap and he will be good to go. Also, he is great at creating turnovers. He forces fumbles, recovers them, and gets INTs....he also tackles very well. On top of all of this, he is a very nice punt returner.

yeah he is overrated. andy brodell made him look stupid with what is possibly the ugliest juke in alamo bowl history. 60 yards later in the end zone he looked even more stupid.

u do know that the rules between college and pros for cb's are very different right? in college u can basically kill a guy and not get flagged if ur playing on your home field. in the nfl u touch a player even after 4 yrds u get flagged.

I don't like that Nelson isn't very smart... Not at all.
Ivy League
Jason Garrett offense rank minus Tony Sparano: 18, 14, 7, 15, 15

watkins was playing very good at the end of the yr. he wasnt making the mistakes he was at the begining of the yr, and he was tackling better. had a couple of picks too. watkins is fine.
i dont think nelson would really be a upgrade over watkins. and if he is the difference i dont think is really noticable. once watkins got used to the rules in the nfl he was fine.

Fix the pass rush and we are OK at FS with either Watkins or Henry. Draft a FS and we still need to fix the pass rush. Bottom line.....fix the damn pass rush!!!
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Dang I thought he was a senior.
I've been avoiding as much football as possible ever since the "hold".

The problem with the pass rush will be improved just due to the scheme alone.

That I do agree with. I said all last year we ran the worse 3-4 in the league.

Our 3-4 was basically Zimmer's old 4-3 scheme but with the DE standing up.
Only it was actually a little more effective then Zimmer's old 4-3.
