Default Anttaj Hawthorne

Well, I'm going to get to see one of my DT 1st round draft hopefuls up close today.

Wisconsin is in town to face my Wildcats.

They scheduled this game for 1:00 pm. If you have ever been to Arizona in September you will understand that 1:00 in the afternoon is not normally a good time to play football. Clearly Mike Stoops sought an acclimated to the weather edge.

Sometimes the football gods just like to play jokes. It has been raining all day here and the temperature for the game is expected to be about 88 degrees.

I am mor einterested in seeing Hawthorne than anything else in this game though.

Well, Hawthorne is a bulldozer. No doubt about it.

I personally think Rod Wright of Texas was more impressive last week.

Still there is no doubt that Hawthorne is simply amazing.

The game was delayed 90 minutes by lightning. Everyone was soaking wet. I kept telling Wisconsin fans that it's a dry heat.

There was no halftime. They decided the delay was time off enough.

Final score 9-7 although it should have been 16-7. Wisconsin took the ball away and scored. The refs ruled forward progress had been stopped. In my opinion, even with my home town bias, that was a bad call.

A friend of mine from work has a little cousin freshman WR playing for the Wildcats. He'sa sprint champ from Houston that goes 6' and 210 or so but his name escapes me right now.

Zona is gonna get good quick with Baby Stoops in there.
But I still don't know what any team saw Thursday night that would have made them comfortable with waiting a round or two for the offensive lineman they wanted. ---Todd McShay
We just converted half our LB to DL. We have a 30m starting DL, it better be pretty friggin good.

And yes Rod Wright is probably the best player in the country.
He's dominant in both aspects of the game. He's better than Shaun Rogers was at this point for sure.
