Default Does Anyone Know if Players/Coaches Post on the Zone?

Actually, I'm referring to any message board/team affiliation has now or ever had membership (NFL player or coaches) that actively posted.

If you look at the way some posters respond, it is almost in terms of a "first-person" or coming from a professional knowledge base.

My own experience that until this day, I'm still not certain, is a PM with someone that clearly professed to be Donovan McNabb. He told me that he was getting ready to go into surgery (the sports hernia) and would Not Be able to post for a while. He realized that anyone could profess to be McNabb, but that he had no reason to lie, and that he joined various MBs from time to time because he enjoyed the dialogue.

Just curious ...did anyone else experience posting/chatting with any of the NFL pros?

I'm sure that there are players who post -- I'd imagine far more lurk (probably just like listening to sports radio).

Some guys are so thin skinned that they want to know everything being said about them.

Andy Ried posts on this board frequently. He goes by the name BB Gun.

BB gun is a pain sometimes, we all are, but I believe he is a true blue cowboy fan.

Just one of those bitter old farts.

I can't say about players or coaches here.

However I know we have had relatives of players. We also have some known reporters that either read and post or just read here.

As far as other message boards. I am pretty sure there is a FO person for another team that posts on another message board.

I think I understand you to say that a player may join and monitor and do very little participating; in an attempt to determine a feel of how his fans feel about their performance.

Good Hunting ...or Tally-Ho! (Hunt cry "the prey has been sighted") " Tallio, Hoix, Hark, Forward,"
which is a corruption of the French hunter's call. Four hundred years ago the French hunter encouraged his dogs with the musical cry of "Thia-hilaud a qui forheur!" sometimes printed "Tya-hillaut a qui forheur!" From this the English manufactured "Tallio, hoix, hark, forward."
