He is one of the most dynamic kick returners in college football history. He had fairly good receiving numbers playing for the top ranked team for the three years he was playing. Comparing him to Alexander Wright is below stupid... whatever that level is.

I agree, comparing Ginn to Wright is below ignorant. I'm so sick and tired of these idiots commenting on players they han't taken the time to watch.
It's so obvious that many of these guys have only read a few draft opinions, and/or saw a few sportcenter highlights. Then they formulate this imagined image of the player and then they spout off telling you their opinion of the imagined player.

Ginn would be a total "Luxury" pick for us. In most years we just could not afford to take a chance on a guaranteed lifetime back-up/special teams player. However, this year we can afford it so it wouldn't kill me if we chose him. But Jarrett/Mike Williams? No way in he11. Think Desmond Howard when looking at Ginn.

LMFAO! You call me ignorant. You don't know me at all, yet you pass judgement on me from one post you have read. I watch a cosiderable amount of football, both pro and NCAA. For what it's worth. I am not alone in my opinion about this fast as heck punt returner. If you go back and read, you'll see that I said he is a punt returner. As a WR, he has bust written all over him.

Uh, I guess you missed his one play in the NC game when he looked pretty good as a KR?

Ross or Griffen make the most sense. It is much harder to find a good corner than it is to find a WR. Plus,Newman,is going into his last year of his contract and Glenn is on his last leg,so to speak.

Uhmm, in my opinion, it is beyond dumb to draft a punt returner with a first round pick. As a WR, he has bust written all over him. We need to use the first round pick on a quality player, not return man.

I think Ginn is most comparable to Santana Moss. Therefore , if his injuries check out I would have no problem taking him at 22 and get the ball in his hands as many times as possible. KR, PR, WR screens, Out of the backfield, I don't care get the guy in open space.

Someone obviously hasn't watched Ginn if he thinks he's Alexander Wright reborn.

Actually I agreed with another posted who stated that it was beyond ignorant to compare Ginn to Wright.
Your right I do not know you, so I base my opinion on what you've said.
And in my opinion, if you think that Ginn is an Alexander Wright type player, then you haven't watched Ginn play, at least not much. My comment about "idiots" was broad based.
If you have watched Ginn extensively, and you think that he is an Alexander Wright, then IMO you have either very bad eyes, or very, very low football I.Q.
I'm not saying you have to like the guy to be smart, I'm just saying that I don't see how anybody who actually watched Tedd Ginn Jr. play, alot, could not have seen that he already is a heck of a WR, and a very talented and versital football player.
I've seen him catch every type of pass in the book, short, long, middle, tough, easy. The guy is as natural a young WR as there is. If you have concerns about his size/durability, ability to beat press coverage, fine.
But to compare a guy who is one of the most dynamic football players to ever play college football, who has been extremely productive for three years as a WR for one of the top teams in the country to Alexander Wright, is, well, ignorant IMO.

So now people have moved from the Dante Hall comparisons to Alexander Wright comparisons? LOL, that is all.

I am not talking about what he has done in college. As everyone knows, that has little bearing to being a good player in the pros. In the pros, he will be a good return man, that is all. My opinion and I am sticking to it. If proven wrong, I will happily admit I am wrong, but I don't think it will be necessary. I sure as heck don't want the Cowboys to use a first round pick on him. No way.
