I don't think he'll be draft in the 1st round.

He's a 2nd rounder -- could be a return stud but could take a long while to become a WR

matt mosley(on espn103.3 with gac) said the cowboys were way down on ginn.
he didnt say why.
he said they love reggie nelson and it might be nelson or a trade down.
But I still don't know what any team saw Thursday night that would have made them comfortable with waiting a round or two for the offensive lineman they wanted. ---Todd McShay
We just converted half our LB to DL. We have a 30m starting DL, it better be pretty friggin good.

Yes, CB being one of them.....Those vids show me 2 things...why we should draft Ginn...and why we shouldn't draft Aaron Ross!

Ginn is not really healed right now...but when he is on his game that sucker can run like Forrest Gump!
I think a good year or two in the NFL would really help this guy! He's actually a really amazing player...
I want a nose tackle! That is what I am so concerned about...! Maybe not in the first...but, the Boyz need some big, bad, muscle right there to help Fergy...

I'm sorry, but if we draft Nelson, I'll puke. If we go safety, the guy better have ALL of the tangibles needed to exceed there in the NFL. Don't get me wrong, I like Nelson, just not for us. He's not fast enough. He looked downright slow at the combine...real slow. I'd rather have a guy like *gulp* Meriweather.
I'll take the trade down over Nelson and Ginn.
What happened to us being high on Meachem?

Edit- Aaron Ross- toast!

I'd weep if we drafted Aaron Ross. He's not a 1st round talent. I don't think you'll hear his name until the mid 2nd.

Let me rephrase...in this case "us" should be "Ireland."

I would love it if the Cowboys could get Nelson, but I don't see him getting past Jaguars. Getting the best defensive player in college football at #22 is probably expecting too much anyway.

Well, I just hope he doesn't cost the Cowboys millions. Just how good can he be if he gets injured in an end zone celebration, and still can't run 3 months later?
I hope the Boys feel the same, and pass him by.`

Exactly, remember JJ in 2005 when Parcells tried to rush him back?
As long as the docs clears him, I hope he drops all the way to 22.

Interesting, for what it's worth.
I would be perfectly fine with Nelson. I'm not sold in any way on Watkins(biggest negative on him last year was his coverage ability) and Hamlins biggest knock is his coverage as well. This is a draft where we can truely afford to take the best playmaker, regardless of possition and if Ireland thinks it's a FS so be it.

Ginn, Nelson or Merriweather (bit concerned about charcter) but all are playmakers. I would love to get one of them at our pick!
Merriweather maybe a better fit for us than Nelson since he plays all 4 positions fairly well at the U and a natural centerfielder.
