If I'm gonna post in this thread, I figure I'd better answer the question.

1. A LOT of booze.
2. A TV that allows me to watch sports and follow all of my teams (Cowboys, Tar Heels, Spurs, etc). Yes, pathetically, sports are this important to me.
3. A guitar. I've never had the time or patience to learn how to play it...I figure a stranded island would give me plenty of both.

And my not-so-obvious girl choice: Norah Jones. I have always been incredibly attracted to her (I think it's her eyes...ooh man, those eyes...) And though I don't normally like the folksy kind of stuff she plays, I absolutely LOVE her stuff. At the risk of sounding sappy/gay/whatever-other-insult-you-choose, her voice is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. Plus, she actually has the kind of personality and smarts that could probably keep me from wanting to use one of CR's bullets after about a week of being stranded with her. Oh, and she could help teach me how to play that damned guitar.

Did I just confess my undying love for Norah Jones on a Cowboys forum? I think I did...oh well.

This reminds me of an assignment we had in sixth grade. The teacher said we were stranded on a desert island, told us what we had in our pockets, and said we could choose three things to take on the island. After a lot of class discussion and several days later, she said "you've had some very good ideas but you should have asked what was in your other pocket - a cell phone."

Uh, didn't you tell us what was in our pockets to begin with? A cell phone wasn't among them, and I'm sure after coming out of the ocean it's going to work just great.

And I doubt a cell company would put a cell tower on a desert island and if they did would it cease being a desert island?
