Default New original song by me (ballad)

It can be considered a ballad but it has its heavy moments, with some moody ones aswell. I used some cellos on some parts to add to the moodiness. And yes there are 3 guitar solos. Also ttell me if you think the drums sound good. I did them on beat craft with alot of tweaking. Im not the greatest mixer in the world, so some of the leads might be alittle to loud, my speakers in arent to great so sometimes i dont hea the best playback.

Also you gotta listen to the whole thing, the last solo i think is the climax of the song. The middle might get alittle repetitive, but thats cause there's no words yet. Theres only one repeating section. But trust me the end is awesome from 4:27- till the end is where its at!....

Sorry, man. Listened to the song and forgot to give you feedback. Mea culpa.

The solos are very well done and fit where they should. Too many bands have over-the-top solos that are more "look at me" than they should be. Solos should add to the song, not be the main focus.

I thought the drums sounded fine.

I like these types of songs where it shifts from heavy to light to heavy and back. Good range. Your style reminds me of 80s rock - lots of great melody/harmonies and a good sound to it.

Based on this and your previous Uxmal song, let me know when you release an album. I'd buy it.

I liked it.

There might be a couple of areas I might change...a different transition here or maybe a palm mute / chicken pick there but overall very nice.

Relaxing and in some areas a build up to a inspiring type mood.

For some reason it reminds me of some of Jeff Beck's guitar shop tape. Not sure if it is the pace, phrasing, style or what it is but it reminded me of some of the song parts from that tape.

Good work.

I liked the part at about 1:15 of the song where you chenged tempo. It kind of reminded me of music for an old western movie.

In my opinion you have talent and I hope you can take this somewhere. Are you in a band? Looking for a band? Been in one and won't do that again? Or is this just a hobby?

I love the guitar even though I can't play a lick. I liked it.

Part of me would like to hear what He and Juke could come up with together. Maybe juke do the rhythm and chorus parts with him doing some fill in licks and solos.

I don't know if either of them would even be interested in doing it or have to time to do it but I think it would be interesting.

Thanks guys for all the listens. There are some transitions i would like to clean up but i cant seem to find the time of day to do so. I hope you guys all listen all the way to the last solo, when theres like nothing going on and than in just goes into that last epic-y solo, its my favorite part, i hate that its at the end. I know the song drags in the middle alittle bit, with the repeated section. But i feel the ending is worth the wait haha

Also im not in a band. I have been in a few but my friends have never been into it as much as me(maybe thats why freinds dont make good band mates haha). So yea all the sounds you hear in the songs are all my ideas, whether its the drum machine, or the cellos and what not. But yea thanks you guys for all the kind words, its really gratifying to see a hobby of mine isent just a waste of time. Your all awesome

I did listen all the way through. I still like the old western feel of the part I mentioned the best. There was something very right about that part for me. To me anyone can bend strings and do tricks and be impressive. Something about the music has to pull you in. I feel that part of it did so better.

JMO though. I confess I really don't know enough about music that you should pay heed to my opinions on it. It's just what sounded the most real to me.

You are correct young man, it's called a "hook". Some songs have one, some songs are a giant one.
AS: Cowboys ice their own kicker in 19-13 OT loss

“That is one of the luxuries of my position as owner as well as the ultimate decision maker, general manager and president – I can do that and take the losses and come back for more,” Jones said.

God help us...............
