Man that was great. I wish I would have thought of that when I was coaching. That was just great!

The Steelers used to try stunts like that, except Slash would walk towards the sideline without the ball (pretending to be confused about the play call). The center would then snap it to one of the backs.

Well, even if he did lose, at least he didn't get shut out. 6 points baby!

Why? All you'd have done was stop the play clock...for nothing.

I thoroughly enjoyed that. Since they can't do the fumblerooski any more, that can take its place.

How is that legal? I didn't see a snap, the Center just handed the QB the ball.

I thought it was funny but I also felt like it was pretty cheap to do it against a bunch of little kids. Now if that had been at least a high school game then it would be OK but Pop Warner? Come on, how much of a man did the coach feel after fooling a bunch of little kids?
It was still pretty funny though.

"Jerry Jones is a billionaire fan who bought his own team for the express purpose of buying his way into the game. He wants to hang out with the players, stand in front of the cameras, be the face of the team (yech), make personnel moves as if this were a video game, and more than anything else, be seen as the guy who made it all happen."

Ummmm, I'm pretty sure that's what a snap IS. It doesn't matter if its from undernieth or the side. IIRC.

Understandable, but you would've been wrong in this case, I believe. The refs handle the ball before the snap...he/she should know better. On top of that, the player or coach would have to call a time out, which could then be awarded back to the team in the case fo a deflation...I think.?
