Default RUMOR: Brunell to be traded to Seahawks

Breaking News from WUSA channel 9 in DC. Report says the Seahawks will give the Redskins a late round draft choice, but also reported they will move Seneca Wallace to TE? ( is a mistake because he is too small). I think it is a bigger mistake for Seattle to give up a draft pick for a QB that may be released anyway. Just some info, as i watch the live Gametrack form the Cowboys' game. Let's get the regular season started!!

He has time under Holmgren at GB.

Or maybe they learned their lesson from last year, when Holmgren refused to sign a veteran backup QB(i.e. Garcia)-look what happened when Matt went down. Otherwise, they would have went back to the Super Bowl.

To me-this is a GOOD move on their part.

Wallace just became the first 5-9, 200 lb TE in league history.

(Just kidding. They must be making him a WR.)
Ivy League

Jason Garrett offense rank minus Tony Sparano: 18, 14, 7, 15, 15

Brunell is also returning to Washington where he played his college ball.

I agree. This part of the exclusive report has to be wrong!

Mike Holmgren used Wallace as a slot receiver in that NFC Title game a couple of years ago-he was effective.

I hope this is true, but it sounds very dicey. Wallace at TE - LOL.

That would mean Jordan Palmer would be their #2. If Campbell goes down, oh man, bad things will ensue.

Brunell is worth more than a late round pick simply based on the inexperience behind Campbell.

Seneca, (who I love as an ISU fan), would do nothing for this club. Although, Brunell will do nothing for this club either, so I see it as a lose lose in this case. ( by the way, the last time we did this type of trade, we traded taylor jacobs for mike rumph... who we later released... who later had a pro bowl season... so who knows what is really up with thid crazy NFL world.) This is just a move by chances that most of the time never works... so no need to get worked up about it.

I figured Collins was their #2 and Palmer 3.

Todd Collins?

Jerry Jones: "I don't know when I've ever seen a player impress our staff without having played in a ball game any more than Matt Johnson."

You can't have Seneca. They're thinking of moving him to another position. You got a draft pick. That's probably confusing.

Sorry all, forgot about Collins. He'd definitely be #2 you Spears' Apologists.

Wallace has played a bit of WR for the Hawks -- he started for them last year and was decent. I would expect he'd be the 3rd QB and WR for them.

He's playing QB for them right now against Oakland -- he started at QB -- that tells me that he's got a role as a QB for them this season.

at least the skins are recouping draft picks this time, not giving them away
