WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA)--The Washington Redskins are hosting a special prostate health screening event Saturday at FedExField starting at 11 a.m.
September is Prostate Health Awareness Month. Health officials will be screening several hundred men.
In addition, veteran QB Joe Theismann will appear from 3-4 p.m. The locker room will be opened for tour.

WHAT: In recognition of September as Prostate Health Awareness Month, the Washington Redskins, GlaxoSmithKline, Men’s Health Network and American Urological Association Foundation are carrying out a unique screening event in the locker rooms at FedExField to encourage men to be proactive about their prostate health.
Participating men will receive free prostate specific antigen (PSA) tests and optional digital rectal exams (DRE) in the Redskins locker room.
WHO: Men, ages 40+
WHEN: Saturday, September 15, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
WHERE: Redskins Locker Room, FedExField, Landover, MD
WHY: In 2006, 4.7 million men 40+ were diagnosed with Enlarged Prostate (EP) and 244,000 men were diagnosed with prostate cancer.
