Default OU/Texas Pics to keep you going.. =)

I've got a prayer on my desk. It says, "Dear Lord, I pray that my place will never be with the cold, timid souls who do not compete yet criticize, for they never know or feel success or failure."

Though I must admit, the Sooner fight song is somewhat boring. Its vasically Boomer Sooner 20 times, then a short line thats something like "Im Sooner born and Sooner bread and when I die Ill be Sooner dead". Someone with quiet an imagination thought that up....

Sooner Bread???

Mmmmm... Sooner bread.

It's actually a combination of the North Carolina fight song (tarheel born and tarheel bred) and the Yale fight song (boula boula), isn't it?

Most fight songs are repetitive aren't they?

Not A&M's. Texas' is though, its basically Texas fight over and over. A&M's is:

Hullabaloo, Caneck, Caneck
Hullabaloo, Caneck, Caneck
All hail to dear old Texas A&M
Rally around Maroon and White
Good luck to dear old Texas Aggies
They are the boys who show the real old fight
That good old Aggie Spirit thrills us
And makes us yell and yell and yell
So let's fight for dear old Texas A&M
We're gonna beat you all to Chigaroogarem
Chigaroogarem
Rough, Tough, real stuff Texas A&M

Good bye to Texas university
So long to the orange and the white
Good luck to dear old Texas Aggies
They are the boys who show the real old fight
'the eyes of Texas are upon you'
That is the song they sing so well
Sounds Like Hell
So good bye to texas university
We're gonna beat you all to Chigaroogarem
Chigaroogarem
Rough, Tough, Real stuff, Texas A&M

Saw varsity's horns off
Saw varsity's horns off
Saw varsity's horns off
Short! A!
Varsity's horns are sawed off
Varsity's horns are sawed off
Varsity's horns are sawed off
Short! A!

Texas is actually worse than OU:

"Texas Fight!"
Texas Fight! Texas Fight!
and it's goodbye to a&m.
Texas Fight! Texas Fight!
and we'll put over one more win.
Texas Fight! Texas Fight!
for it's Texas we love best!
Give'em Hell! Give'em Hell! Go Horns, Go!
and it's goodbye to all the rest.

(Chanted)
Yeah, orange!
Yeah, white!
Yeah, Longhorns,
fight, fight, FIGHT!
Texas FIGHT!
Texas FIGHT!
Yeah, Texas, FIGHT!
Texas FIGHT!
Texas FIGHT!
Yeah Texas FIGHT!
