I know it's REALLY early, but some of you Fantasy nuts out there may want to get started.

Rank your top 20 (or 10 or 30 if you like) Fantasy Running Backs for the coming season. I'll give it a shot in the dark...assume standard scoring:

    1- Adrian Peterson
    2- Matt Forte
    3- Michael Turner
    4- Maurice Jones-Drew
    5- Frank Gore
    6- Brian Westbrook
    7- DeAngelo Williams
    8- Chris Johnson
    9- Marion Barber
    10- LaDamien Tomlinson
    11- Steve Slaton
    12- Steven Jackson
    13- Clinton Portis
    14- Brandon Jacobs
    15- Ronnie Brown
    16- Chris Wells
    17- Ryan Grant
18- Marshawn Lynch (out 3+ games)
    19- J Addai
    20- Kevin Smith

there are another 10 or so that could easily make this list...give it a shot!

LT was the consenses #1 RB last year. No one I know who had the first pick and used it on him won their Super Bowl.

Yeah, it can fall apart quickly if you miss early. Most of the winners last year had either Brees or Warner and then also stole someone like Forte or CJ late in the draft.

I'd have Steven Jackson higher. Whoever is the new coach in St. Louis (the name escapes me) said that the entire offense was going to be centered around Jackson. He could have a huge year.

Me too at this point....maybe top 8 even. I do worry about injuries, but same can be said for Westbrook, Barber, Jacobs, etc.

    Gore may be too high.

It also depends if you play in a points per catch league. AP doesn't catch the ball much, so he wouldn't be #1. I have AP and Forte in my one player keeper league and I'm thinking of keeping Forte instead of AP. Forte catches at least 5 balls a game and that's 5 extra points in my league....

    Standard scoring league is assumed.

This was done awhile ago...and i already would tweak it a bit. I was high on SJax last year was a bit disappointed. If others feels that way too, he could be had late 1st round/early 2nd this year in 12 team leagues.

I think Forte will do great. He's a very good RB in a great situation. CJ is going to go nuts too. Gore should carry the load again, but it sounds like Coffee may be sharing some.

I love Westie, but his health isses scare me. Gotta handcuff him with McCoy if possible. Same goes for Addai and their new rookie.

Hate to say it, but i aslo may have slightly overrated LT.
