I will gladly admit any mistake I have made - just as soon as you point one out to me.
Trash talk aside, can we all agree Xander Bogaerts is gonna be a star? You talk about a natural hitter.
If you go by the Gregorian Calendar, then it is 2001 as they believed all things started with Christ. If you go by the Astronomical Year Calendar, then it is 2000. Although the absolute numerical values of astronomical and historical years only differ by one before year 1, this difference is critical when calculating astronomical events like eclipses or planetary conjunctions to determine when historical events which mention them occurred.
You could be right or wrong I guess. I choose to say that the Yankees have more because it fits my point better. You do the same because it fits yours.
I considered bolding this statement but I assumed it was well within capabilities to read, much as it is ours.
Keep it civil please.
Yankees start to pull away ... The AL East is theirs to lose.
41st pennant title and 28th World Series title.... HERE WE COME!
Ellsbury for ALCS MVP and/or World Series MVP.
I like the enthusiasm but it's early. Losing Nova and the up and down of CC still worries me. Only have a 1 game lead in the AL East.
Meh.... I got a 50-50 chance of being right. We will win it all or we won't. Where are the posters that should be correcting me saying, "you don't have a 50-50 chance.,,, there are other teams.... Blah blah blah" .... Anoyyyyyying! Lol
Nova was never gonna be consistent enough. Hopefully we can plug that hole with a "find"
Who is next guy up?
Vidal Nuno has been named the 5th starter for now. He's pitched well in his opportunities but we'll have to see how this goes.
Nice game by Tanaka yesterday. He did give up to shots but he pitched 7 innings, 7Ks, 2.15 ERA and got the win. Let's hope he can keep it up. We need him this year.
Tanaka. Nice surprise. Yeah they hit some shots but hey they get paid too lol
I already feel good about him if we are in a playoff series. I feel he could win his 2 games in a give game series and 2-3 games in a 7 game series if need be.
Another enjoyable series. Man, if we could only play the Red Sox all the time...
Hope they miss the playoffs. Further proof they were not deserving of last years world series win.
I have no doubt they are going to miss the playoffs - but that does absolutely nothing to take away from the fact that they won the World Series last year fair and square.
We drink your tears!!!! It is so nice see the shoe of bitterness on a Yankee foot!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOL
We do not put any emphasis or importance on world series won in the past... remember? Last years world series is history. Nobody cares!
No tears here. We are going to get one more for the captain. Get a ring on other hand.
Get one for Ichiro.
Get one for Soriano.
Get one to match Girardi's jersey #28. (Which he will have to change again to 29 for next season just like he did after winning 27). Ok, wait for it... Here it comes... One sec... Its almost here....... Ok, go! Lolololol
All your anticipation is only going to heighten my enjoyment when you come to the realization that they will, once again, fail this year.
Sounds so silly, "fail again" for a franchise that wins 1 out of every 4 world series.
You mean, the franchise that spends the most money routinely, BY FAR, yet fails 3 out of 4 even tho they are the odds on favorite based on expenditures.

OK so lets agree this division is the equivalent to the NFC East this year, mediocre. Seriously though, Bogaerts has a chance to have the career Tony C should have had. Also I think eventually he ends up as a corner outfielder. He is just finding his stroke this year and only 21.
