When you go to newsstands and pick up preseason magazines most of them rank the top 25 or top 40 teams but we have decided to countdown our top 40 small school prospects with a brief look at each player. Every day we will release a new player in our countdown. Enjoy!

    37. OT/OG Trevis Turner, Abilene Christian
    HT: 6065

    WT: 338

    40: 5.30-5.35

CAREER SNAPSHOT: HM All-LSC South at RT in '09. 2nd team All-LSC South at RT in '08. Transferred from Northeastern State.

STRENGTHS: Outstanding size. Good toughness shown by playing hurt most of the year. Thick thighs. Long arms. Massive body. Strong punch.

WEAKNESSES: Inconsistent player who does not always finish and is sometimes lazy. Waist bender. Stands straight up. Needs to bend knees more. Adequate pass protection footwork. Raw technique. Developmental prospect.

ANALYSIS: Turner is a massive individual with ideal size for tackle but lacks elite foot quickness and ability to handle undersized speed rushers. His style of play is likely going to have teams wanting to move him inside to guard where his girth and strength will make him an ideal developmental run blocking right guard.

    JBS PROJECTION: Priority Free Agent.

    NFL PROJECTION: Priority Free Agent.
