Buck Buchanan Award Finalist, 1st team All-American, 1st team All-SoCon w/58 TT, 3 TFL, SCK, 10 INT, 7 PBU, FF in 13 gms in '08. 20 TT mainly on special teams in '07. STRENGTHS: Adequate height and length. Very productive. Has great ball skills and instincts. Good hands. Plays center field very well. Has good speed (4.45E). Adequate in man and zone coverage. Active in run support. Physical and aggressive. Good closing speed. WEAKNESSES: Mostly a good tackler but sometimes leads with his shoulders instead of wrapping up. Needs to bulk up a little bit. Has good speed but lacks blazing speed small school players need to go in the top 3-4 rounds usually. Raw tackling technique and needs to work on being more consistent as he can be very hot and cold. Usually takes a few weeks to shake the rust off each year starting the season slow. ANALYSIS: LeGree is a two-year starter whose production, speed, ball skills, and hard-hitting style of play have attracted heavy attention from scouts. While he plays hot and cold sometimes and takes a little while to really get warmed up each year he displays great skills only needing to bulk up and become more consistent as a tackler and in his overall play. Keep an eye on this kid as the NFL has him as a priority free agent but he could move into the mid rounds on NFL boards with a strong season and improved consistency. Keep an eye on him against Florida late in the season because that is usually when LeGree is strongest and that would be the type of marquee game that could really put him on the map with NFL teams. JBS PROJECTION: 5th Round. NFL PROJECTION: Priority Free Agent.
