    Peace comes through men
    Surely this you know
    That man's his own savior
Or so I have been told
Words such as "hope" are monopolized too
They are vocabulary words for but a chosen few
Platitudes that fit the void left by truth
But to speak out against such is considered most uncouth
We must silence all dissenters whose opinions are not swayed
They'll meddle with our plans to "enlighten" this age
Peace comes not through strength but by welfare and vague "change"
So at the end of the day we are but glorified slaves
Our masters are now "elected" by men, who sit in the Capitol, as we reap our sins
But really we cannot refute the devil's smirking grin, we gave the reigns away and invited the pitchforked fellow in.
We'll slaughter the innocent and declare it a right, a matter that's private and not a national plight.
"In God We Trust" the money does say, and since it belongs to Caesar then we simply obey.
But by the grace of the State go I, bureaucracy saves men from self-respect's pry.
I bow a humble knee every night before my bed
And thank Almighty Caesar for bestowing daily bread, for without his gracious giving I might have worked to pay my debts but my neighbors ample pockets are now writing all my checks, thank you glorious Caesar for rewarding my great sloth, you've spared me from the misery of accounting for my lot.

Good one and so very true.

If there is no more then what we have now then what reason is there to try and be better and improve?

The atheists and secularists never figure that out.
