Goodness. I have been out of touch on A/V Receivers for quite a few years. I'm beginning to think about setting up a home audio video system for the first time in a loooooong time, and the choices out there and all the options are just bewildering!

It appears that "mid range" type systems (not low end, not high end) would be about in the $400-$700 area...anybody have any recommendations on something in that neighborhood?

I'm also wanting to get back into vinyl, and get a turntable again, so I would certainly want a receiver that can handle that. Looks like a lot of the turntables are USB nowadays, but there also appears to be phono adapters as well.

It's all a lot to catch up on!
