Ugh. Every time that play gets mentioned, I have flashbacks and get sick to my stomach.
well, the Bryant play was a tremendous play that was just an in game happening (kind of like the non fumble at the end of our game yesterday). Game management issues are a different breed.
Watching that fumble yesterday in the Skins game and the drop by Green in our game makes me feel like fate is setting us up for a week 17 winner take all.
We will see I guess. I hope we get to that point.
So really good teams even ones capable of winning the SB are kaput after losing one game on the road. That isn't consistent with NFL history.
if we run the table and win the NFCE Garrett deserves coach of the year consideration.
This team is winless in the playoffs so until they prove themselves you can expect the wheels to fall off in 4 weeks
I wouldn't go there.
I think gaining a measure of confidence from his team's fans would likely be the best he could ask for in that scenario....and I'm not sure he'd get that.
There are 32 teams that haven't won a playoff game, Norman.
The Giants per Wikipedia:
They were the third team in history to win three road playoff games en route to a Super Bowl and set a league record for most consecutive road wins in a single season (11).
Not saying they're going to win against Atlanta and / or Baltimore...but don't count them out yet.
I feel good about Atlanta game but I feel bad about Ravens game.
I think we will win at Atlanta and at home against Philly.
We will be 10-6 when all is said and done.
I can totally see the Giants winning against both of those teams. Though either or both could get you, too. It'll be a good test for ATL, in particular, if that team hopes to win playoff games this year. I think yesterday was a fairly classic trap game for them. Whoops.
Sounds about right to me
That's what I'm expecting, too. One of the three of us is going to win out to win the East at 10-6. At least the Giants have two tough games coming up. Bad news, that's when they've been money recently.
Come on, Superbowl hangover.
