Bart Scott of the CBS Sports Network’s “That Other Pregame Show” took a shot at Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on Sunday before Dallas beat the New York Giants.

“This guy (Jones) is senile,” Scott said, according to the New York Daily News.

Lots have been discussed about Jones in the past week.

In a span of five days, Jones, 71,expressed his desire to remain the organization’s chief decision-maker the next 15 to 20 years, extolled his recent performance as general manager, told reporters coach Jason Garrett would be back in 2014, said he wanted more production from Tony Romo and verbalized his support of beleaguered defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin.

Scott was a longtime linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets.

Bart Scott = Famous for saying "Can't wait" & then getting beat in the playoffs the following week. He should just keep his trap shut.

Hey Dallas has won a couple of games with a big tv audience so this will happen.

If we beat Chicago expect the full onslaught of former players to bag on Dallas.

I left the tv on nfl network yesterday morning while I was working and they were talking about romo or foles and one of the guys said I will take romo down the stretch because he is battle tested......lavarr Arrington immediately burst into laughter and said what battle has he ever been in, he doesn't know anything about battles.

It's hillarious he would say this. He is a first rounder who never lived up to expectation and only played in I believe two playoff games of which he lost both.

Romo's career dwarf's his career in every possible way and he was undrafted. Yet Arrington is bagging on romo.

This kind of stupidity is only goi g to increase if we win the division.

nope, I'm with you, maybe senile is not the best description, but I enjoy any shots taken at that *******, the more the merrier I say. I love how his sorry *** can't even be put on his big Screen without the stajum erupting in a chorus of boos

while i agree with you, unfortunately i have little sympathy for this team
they have fallen short several times when they had the opportunity to rise up... not once, several times

i may think that Arrington is an idiot but there are several recently retired players who call this team out regularly and some that are still playing in the NFL that have actually played for us. if former and current players are bagging on this team, it is because they have played on this team or against this team and they know who (and what) this team is

there is only one way to shut this talk..... win in the playoffs

Senile would imply he once had it and lost it.

He's never had it. He's insane, not senile.

I wonder if he'd use that same defense of Dan Snyder when a former player called him nuts.

Whatever Jerry is, he's the single biggest reason, by a country mile, why the Dallas Cowboys don't win anymore and he doesn't intend to do a thing about it until the day he dies. Worse yet, he's groomed his son to continue this nonsense when he's gone.

It blows my mind that any fan of this team would defend him on anything.

You guys know me, I do not defend Jerry....ever.
But Bart Scott is a buffoon. During his playing days, he HATED the media. Never had a nice word to say to or about anyone in the media. Yet once his playing days were over.....where did he run to? Yep. The media.

You mean to tell me that when Jerry gives a public scouting report about one of his players and tells how he will make a significant impact, and ends it with his big ole "used car salesman" wink.....that you arent buying what he is selling? o_O

If you're looking for an old guy to make your team money Jerry's your man.

If you're looking for an guy to run the football end of it he's certainly not your man.

The main reason I despise Jerry is his ego. He thinks he's all that & he'll tell you he's all that. Screw the old coot.

Granted as a GM Jerry pretty much sucks eggs, but you're not going to find a better owner.

Lavar Arrington had been the perfect example of a player looking like Tarzan and playing like Jane.

Why? Because he sinks millions in one year wonders? Devastates the salary cap? Hangs on to degrading talent? Builds a brothel for a stadium and charges the fans out the wazoo?

    He's my hero.
