Simple yes or no question are the Cowboys a legit Super Bowl contender?
Every team is a SB contender at this time of the year.
That why that football is shaped funny...
on the fringe but they could surprise. I would bet against it although my heart says oh yeah.
No. Even if the D is improved, it won't be SB caliber yet. The oline is another mystery.
OK...I'll be the first.....YES!!!!!
New Orleans is in trouble. Brees is holding out, coaches are suspended, players are suspended.
San Francisco is playing a 1st place schedule this year. They still have a mediocre QB, and I do not believe they will repeat last year's success.
Detroit will improve, if they can keep their players sober or at least from driving. Still suspect at RB.
Green Bay is absolutely the class of the NFC in my opinion, but they too have a harder schedule this year and are not going to only lose 1 game this year.
We improved our Defense far more than the Giants or Eagles did and I believe we will allow fewer than 300 points this year. I also think with an improved FB and a healthy Murray we will score over 400 this year.
A full off season under Woicik.
I say it again, hell yes.
If we hit on most of our draft picks this season, Carter and address the lines next offseason we could be, we're not right now but the NFL is weird. Seems like it's not the best team trough the season that wins anymore it's who ever gets hot at the end so if we get into the playoffs you never know
Very possible as long they avoid injuries to the main players, especially the receivers and D-backs. Miles and Dez have to stay on the field, as with Murray and Felix. This schedule is not gonna be a cakewalk.
(you forgot about the oline)
It's the nfl - not the nba. It's a league of parity
No. Maybe next year.
We have all the tools but we just need to gel.
We scored 369 points last year with that bad OL. I believe Livings and Bernadeau will be improvement over out OGs last year. I do like the Leary kid too. My concern is Costa at C. That worries me. But as bad as our OL was, we still put up 369. We're going to score.
If the 2007 Giants (who went 10-6,) 2008 Cardinals (who went 9-7,) and 2011 Giants (who went 9-7) were Super Bowl contenders, there's no reason this year's Cowboys can't be.
I admit it, I am shocked.
Do you think Kawasaki will make the team? I really liked the way he played when he came in. Either him, or someone else to back up Costa.
This will happen and will show around games 7 to 10. Don't need an entire season, and another off season to do this with the supposedly talent on the team.
Sometimes, yes, but not this time, IMO of course.
Yes, yes, and yes!
He makes the team if we keep Bernadeau and Nagy at OG. If we move either of them to C, I don't think he does unless they like his ceiling over Costa.
I liked him.
