    of his past lingering Injuries

    Mark Barron at 18

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We haven't seen many Chargers mocks with Barron at 18, and I'm wondering why not?

Thoughts? IMO if he was fully healthy right now, he'd be a top 15 pick easy.

If by chance he is available at 18, do we move on him?

Do we trade UP in order to land him?

Remember, there's no knowing where Harrison will go. Some have him at the bottom of the first, and we NEED a starting SS like there's no tomorrow.

Injury concerns. I'm tired of taking players who can't stay on the field for 16 games. Pass on Barron at 18.

So are you scared or are Chargers fans scared? either way kids the best saftey in the class. Still rather have others but he's a player talented enough to be taken at 14 IMO

Like to see an elite player at 14, I think Barron is an upgrade, not elite.

Agreed but I think they Cowboys are looking to get Quantity and that may not be a bad thing with the roster in place.

The Cowboys are so going to trade down in this draft and if you can get extra picks plus Barron than that may be a great move.

You draft him, the safety position is virtually fixed for the next 5-10 years.

The safety position has plagued us, probably costing us at least 5 wins over the past two seasons. Barron is a fix it and forget it type.

I'm just hoping we get young #31 Roy Williams and not #38 Roy Williams.

You don't have 14 elite players coming out every year. That's a preposterous requirement.

I don't think Barron is either of those. And that's a good thing.

No what is preposterous is fixing the back four before the front seven. A guy like Coples has the chance to be elite, Barron not so much. Only secondary guy I'd take before front seven in this draft is Claiborne, and he isnt falling to 14.

Elite prospects don't make it to 14, they go top 5.

I would much rather have Barron who played well in big games with a double hernia; then Poe. Other than his Combine numbers, I have yet to hear any analyst say good things about his game film. He has already been tagged as the biggest risk in this years draft. I'm looking so forward to this years draft because of the last years outcome. We drafted the best player available and may have hit on our first three rounds.

actually DeCastro or Fletcher Cox is who I want but I want cry if we take Barron but hopefully the little small Injuries will not become a problem like Jenkins

I'm still a big fan of DeCastro at 14 but I'd be more than pleased with Coples or Barron at that spot as well. I'm not going to be overly picky in this situation. There are 3-5 people that Dallas could draft at this spot and I'd be more than pleased.

Brady made it to round 6. Romo was undrafted, should I continue.

They turned out to be great players, but they weren't considered elite prospects. Big difference.

First, I want Dallas to stay put. Second, I want them to draft one of the following players in this order:

    1. DeCastro
    2. Cox
    3. Hightower
    4. Barron

I'd put Kuechly-Koo on that list at #5 but I think he'll be gone by 14.
