Cantu should never see the field with Mitch Moreland playing. Cantu does nothing but makes defensive blunders (I wanted to physically choke him yesterday) and doesn't produce at the plate. (.211 BA with ZERO RBIs, .262 on-base precentage since joining Texas)

Mitch Moreland on the other hand with 10 more at bats has a .269 BA, 9 RBIs, 3 HRs, and an on-base percentage .364! (102 points higher!)

I've actually been very pleased with Andres Blanco. He hasn't been perfect, but he has been pretty good filling in for Kinsler. (the injury to Guzman was the best thing that could have happen, I know that sounds bad, but he was as bad if not worse than Cantu)

I didn't understand trading for Guzman at all. Arias and Blanco filled in very well for Kinsler early in the year, and should have been relied on this time Kinlser got hurt. On the other hand I was excited about the Cantu deal. 1B ahd been a sore spot. But at the time it was reasonable to assume he would at least be solid and consistent, and at the time we didn't know about Moreland. At this point Cantu should only get an ocassional start against a tough lefthander, but Moreland should get the bulk of the playing time.
