i almost threw up looking at those names.WOWWWWWWWW
You may even be more ill after looking at my edited post. I accidentally hit submit before completing the post mortem.
deon > owens
best CB we ever had didn;t mind stealing deonfrom 49ers either
he woudl get interceptions it seems most of our BS woudl wait till the reciver caught the ball then tackle.. rather you play for the ball then just tackle after the reciver has picked up all the yards
I am nto saying we got the best names out there with our pick like ellis is good might have been better but some of those players played good for us
Dexter Coakley - driven out by parcells but was ok
Greg Ellis DE - seems lieka great guy
Flozell Adams - this dude gets called for holding ever other freaking play
Dat Nguyen LB - I go to UTSA but A&M > UT of Austion enough said
but your right alot of other peoepls pure scrubs.
You will throw up when you see who we passed up or could have drafted instead! :bang2:
How could I be so stupid expecting a football too actually tackle?
lol i was actually going to ask who was drafted after us in the 2000 draft.
goodrich in the first?jerry WHY?????????????
Man, that's painful.
No! No! Make it stop! Make it stop! I can't take it!
Deion did make the tackles for the most part, he may not have laid the wood on anyone but he would bring his man down when he caught the ball which was not very often with Deion at CB.
Jerry basically signed him so no other team would get him(and hurt us again)... if Jerry were smart he would have got Deion PRIOR to SB29.... we then lost and Jerry signed him so no one else could have him.... a Steinbrenner move if I ever saw one... that is probably why he let him sign and still play baseball.... just my theory
Jerry: "So Deion, will it be football or baseball?"
Jerry: "So Deion, is it offense or defense?"
Jerry: "So what'll it be Deion, 15, 20 million?"
Deion: "Uh, both."
