Tough QBs don't cry to the media about getting hit.
That's the one I was forgetting! I knew it was a beast-man moment. Though, speaking as a guy who's blown two ACLs, it's not all that painful. It's an injury where you just don't have the support you expect, so it's balky, and you can do a ton of extra damage to your knee if you play unsupported, but at least it's not painful, like a broken-rib. Still, a man's-man thing to do.
LOL, whatever. :laugh2:
Four 3 and outs in a row against an NFL offense is impressive.
Not just forcing four punts, .. but four possessions without allowing a first down.
And doing all of this right when the team needed it most is just even more reason to admire that defense.
I don't know about you, but that is good defense in my book.
Vick?? Lmao! wow.
Looks like Big Ben may be out for quite a while. He has a dislocated rib that could potentially be fatal if he were to play, according to the NFL website.
As many times as that's been reported that he may be done for the year, he always comes back and it's a huge story. The shtick is getting old.
Yea, he'll come back all bandaged up and padded up and he will have some gladiator type performance to take the stealers to victory, against the will of the doctors, his wife and his mother.
Big Ben can bend steel, dodge bullets, leap tall buildings, and rape small girls.
I agree they are a good defense but they were playing KC. My old HS team could shut them down on four consecutive drives!
I hope you are just being cute and really don't believe that.
It's tongue in cheek I bet. You know, like "Experts" saying Bama can beat some NFL teams. Except they bought into their own hype of that team so much they actually believed that to be true.
I think he might be done for the season. This rib was about to rip Aorta thing is serious.
Of course I was...... But KC has a pitiful offense. Pitts second team probably could have done the same thing!
My old HS team was Tennessee/Tombigbee champs for a decade plus.
