Bought a Remmington 559. Wanted some thing to shoot at the range that wouldn't break the bank. Looking forward to getting out in the woods and terrorizing the squirrel population.

The 597 is a great rifle for the money. They are easy to suppress too!

Don't shoot anything you don't plan on eating.

There's no way I'm eating a coyote. But I will shoot them all day, every day.

Unless, of course, you want to come out and guard my calves in the spring so they don't get to 'em.

I've got the 10/22 tactical and love it. I'm not real big in the whole tactical scene especially when we're talking a .22, but the tactical was the only model with a heavy barrel besides the Target model. It was about $150 cheaper than the Target and weighs about a pound less. Now that Ruger has the 25 round clips you can really lay some lead.

They just had some at Academy when I bought the rifle. Picked up a few box's. Already had about 500 rounds at home.
