We can't afford Allen. If we had the cap room, I'd want him too.

can always look at the bright side - no we can lose with a reason - and get a higher draft pick

Dallas Cowboys starting right guard Brian Waters will miss the remainder of the season because of a triceps injury, owner/general manager Jerry Jones said on his weekly radio show.

Injuries, including the latest to starting guard Brian Waters, are forcing the Cowboys to manipulate several roster spots. They won't have a lot of time to get it all right, writes Todd Archer.

"It looks like he's out for the year," Jones said on KRLD-FM on Tuesday morning.

A source told ESPNDallas.com that Waters wants to attempt to play through the injury but that team officials are telling him he needs his triceps repaired.

Waters suffered injuries to his ribs, knee and triceps in Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions.

At some point we need to just unleash Romo and let him play backyard football with Dez and T-Will. Only way we're gonna be competitive. Screw mistakes.

So much for having a half decent offensive line.

This guy was difference-maker...NOW I am worried...however, in retrospect, Waters not being there could indirectly affect Garrett's status (long-term)...the more we lose, the warmer Garrett's chair gets

I bet the moron (Jerrah) wishes he'd actually saved the DIR for a real player instead of a no-name DE.

    Go out guns blazing.

    Only way to go.

You want to die with bullets left in your gun?

Or go down having taken as many as you could with you?

Time to get aggressive! Blow the doors off!

I agree, we have seen Romo in non mistake mode for most of the season and it's not a picture I like. We need to be in all out attack mode just as we were vs the Broncs, this is the only way that we can be competitive IMO. Our defense is obviously not built for winning games, put it in Romo's hands and we'll take them as they come.

To be quite honest here I'm not even that excited for the Vikes this wknd, between the Broncs loss and the Lions I'm just about spent with this team. Seems we are capable of being so much more dynamic but we continually play conservative...not sure if it's Romo being conservative or the damn game plans but it is killing me.

Just speculation: Waters came back in after his knee was hurt and was compensating with his arms.

I really, really liked his play and attitude, big loss.

While it was nonsensical to use on a special teams player like Jones, I do not think the designated for return option could be used at this point anyways.
