Ishmaa'ily Kitchen. I'm sold, just by his name.
I would trade Tanner in a heartbeat. He played hard this preseason, but I think he's Hambrick 2.0
I'd trade Tanner and Randle, both, under the right conditions. Not particularly interested in DL, though, and we'd have to get real value.
If the Browns are willing to let Phil Taylor go.....You take him in a heartbeat...and run like you stole it
There's been the fridge, sure, even the freezer, but now, we have the KITCHEN
Bryant put up some good sack numbers at low level school. Think some had him as a 4th rounder till he did something stupid a week before the draft.
You must not have been around very long....Nate Newton was the Kitchen
You read the part about running backs, too.. right?
So we'll be battling Cleveland for guards who don't make the final cuts.
I wouldnt be willing to trade Tanner for any of those D-Lineman. We are going to need all of our RB depth this year.
Cleveland (or any team for that matter) isn't going to trade someone that starts to try to get depth at a position...they likely aren't going to want any of the guards that we would make available and I wouldn't want to see our RB's go with Murray being a smidgen brittle at times
While I think our running back depth is important, I would definitely trade Tanner for a DL. I think he's a 3 yards in a cloud of dust type of RB, which could be replaced by a guy off the street.
Dez, Miles and Witren
I agree that RB's can be found anywhere, i'm not ready to give up on Tanner for a scrub defensive lineman.
Wake me up if a Dallas/Cleveland trade actually goes through.
Well you get what you pay for. We aren't going to get much for Tanner. I think there's a better value in a guy who potentially gets cut.
I think anyone would, however, that would be like saying, "if the cowboys are willing to let Dez Bryant go, I'd make that trade," just because some article says we are looking to trade a receiver.
Yeah, we're obviously not talking Phil Taylor. We're talking a back-roster guy who, at best, has shown some promise.
At this point heading into the season, we're only looking to shore up depth with young players or to potentially replace an injury prone OL with a guy with a similar physical build who looks to be healthier and have some room to develop over time. We're not going to be getting any meaningful snaps in a last-minute trade. Maybe we could at OG if Mack were to get hurt again and Kowalski is unavailable to take the starts.
Tanner shouldn't be trade bait.
He is our short yardage back.
Dunbar OR Randle could be the guy they ship off IF they feel one of the lower end CLE DTs can help this year in a rotation.
And NO Phil Taylor and Rubin are NOT available.
They are talking bottom of the roster DTs, not rotational guys.
