Stands and applauds.
He didn't play last year.
Seriously...You could have found an undrafted FA after the draft that would be more effective.
So his best position is LG. He is a mauler in the running game. We have the best back in the NFL. We just lost our starting LG in FA. So, this was a great signing for depth and competition.
One that has started 72 NFL games? Maybe someone like Leary hits the UDFA market, then maybe, or a pure RT, that surprises, don't see it happening though.
I can see every time he comes into a game, and they blast Metallica's "For Who the Bell Tolls" on the loud speakers
Didn't Collins only play 2 and a half games last year? He's worth a shot.
After starting the season 1–3, the Panthers went 11–1 the rest of the way, including a then-record eight-game winning streak, securing their first winning season and playoff appearance since 2008. They also notched their third NFC South title. The Panthers' season ended in the Divisional round of the playoffs with a 23–10 loss to the 49ers.
did you watch him play?
Yes, he's most definitely on Doug Free level. Wasn't that good at RT, played better at G. Looks the part though.
Do you and other seriously believe this? Most UDFAs don't even make a team, much less start.
It amazes me how many fans devalue starting experience. Not everyone gets it because they are simply not good enough to ever be more than a backup/role player.
Spot on. Smart move on our part...I mean, IF Green can't stay healthy we can go to Bell (who needs to lose weight btw)
As time marches on?
The Cowboys lost their LG backup not starter. Collins is the starter.
And I'm sure we will bring in 2 or 3 to compete with him.
No, Leary is the starter. Even when Collins was healthy, Leary kept playing.
hmmmm I miss Kelly Kapowski, I'm so lonely
