Drafting Williams in the third is your exit strategy.
with Austin it was not a question of if but when
I just don't know why, if you are truly a Cowboys fan you would not question the guy. I was playing a pick up game of basketball a couple of weeks ago and only had a mild strain in my Austin, I still have trouble making it to work every day.
I feel bad for Austin, it's just an injury that appears he can't prevent.
He said the score was a factor not to put Austin back in the game.
well I hope we don't have to exit too soon then. I've seen nothing in any phases of his game that shows me he even knows a football is going on. I hope he gets a clue soon. At least show up on special teams or learn how to run a nine route.
no maybe for a game or two but Miles is still important to this offense
I thought there was contact with the ground on that play.
Talk about overreaction... Garrett said he could have played if they needed him, it was a blowout so there was no need for him to come back into the game.
I doubt he practices much this week which is cool with me, let the hamstring rest.
The other issue is his salary.
Hard to justify the cap space he is taking up, when he is missing game time.
Anyone know the cap hit if he is cut this off season ?
Has Miles done anything in the first three weeks that Harris can't? Lol honestly
There is contact with the ground on every play.
There is and sometimes it can hurt players.
Some more than others, apparently.
In any case, it was another hamstring injury which likely occurred before he fell.
Yes he was the leading receiver in week 1 and is a superior WR than Dwayne Harris, Harris isn't on the same level as Miles Austin so I call your lol and raise you a lmao
No big surprise.Terrance Williams was drafted due to Austin's persistent hamstring troubles. If Austin remains a Cowboy next year, it just might be a bigger surprise than if he doesn't. Players who can't play on a regular basis without being injured aren't reliable and players who aren't reliable don't last too long in the NFL. Unfortunately, Miles has gotten to a point where he injured as much as not. It's a shame but he may have to depart next year.
Those powerful 7 yard routes. Took some real skill for that.
