Who in the NFL is Bobby Carpentar most comparable to???
chris spielamn perhaps?
Mike Vrabel. Good friends who work out together at OSU.
I've read Chad Brown.
I just hope he makes his own name.
I've seen him compared to Vrabel several times.
That is the one usually mentioned.
TSN compared him to Napolean Harris of the Vikings.
I'd like to say another Kevin Greene, but that's just wishful thinking right now.
If he becomes similiar to mike vrabel thats not too bad of a comparison. hopefully becomes better though.
I hear ya bro...
Lavar Arrington per ESPN draft Magazine.
Carpenter is to Carl Banks...
as Ware is to Lawrence Taylor....
I like the pick. Soild player, and I believe a good character type too which is always good in the locker room for leader types.
No way, Carpenter is smarter, is a hard worker and is more disciplined than Arrington. Plus, Arrington does not fit in the 3-4, Carpenter fits perfectly.
According to Frank Coyle of Draft Insiders Digest. He said that he is similar to Chad Brown and Julian Peterson.
This is a small quote from Frank Coyle on him.
He has a huge upside as a pass rusher and could be a monster attack 'backer in either scheme, but expecially in a 3-4 set. His similarities to Chad Brown in size, athletism and versatility will allow him to fill many roles.
