Local ESPN affiliate announced that the Bengals have signed Cedric Benson.
Oh boy, let the Police Blotter jokes fly.
WOOOOOOOOOO! Just in time to let him carry 5 times against Dallas so he'll fumble at least once. YES! That gives them TWO backs who like to fumble now.
I was thinking that pittsburgh would give him a look, guess not now.
actually Chris Perry is leading the NFL in fumbles rite now so I think we should generate some turn overs this game.
the Stealers are smarter than that
GOOD! We could use some turnovers!!!!
And, Benson...the best high school football player I've ever seen. Pro football player.....not so much!
He got all charges dropped and there is quite a bit of talk of police misconduct with relation to the arrest.
I don't remember what else he did, but the last incident apparently was a non-incident.
:laugh2: LOL. He fits right in with that team.
the off field stuff is just part of it...to me 99% of it is he just flat out sux as a RB
I would say it is more like 90% and that is only because he had to play alongside Rex Grossman at QB.
I would not worry about Perry or Benson penchant for fumbling.
All the Bengals have to do is let Perry and Benson throw the ball against Dallas instead of running it. You know good and well Dallas will not pick one off.
Yep, exactly what I was thinking
Mwelde Moore might be starting for them next week.
Agree. That state finals game v. Westlake was amazing. But, what are the Bengals thinking... He was in legal trouble recently in Austin...
It is called desperation. They only have one healthy back right now and that is Chris Perry who is not that good. Perry came into the league in 2004 and has 545 career rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs. As was said earlier Benson's legal troubles have been dealt with in his favor.
They resigned Davenport. LOL
I hope we get a miracle and beat you guys this Sunday, Come on Romo, we need you to throw some inteceptions, like the buffalo game last year.
