Earlier this week someone on ESPN talked about the Browns job. They discussed that the new owner, Jimmy Haslam came in with promises of stability for the franchise. The head coach is gone afterone year and Haslam is now under federal investigation. Depending on how that goes it could cost him his franchise. That doesn't sound very stable.

B/c they didn't want to part with the pick that they used on Brandon Weeden...

Unless you make stupid picks...I haven't investigated who they took with those picks, but given their history, I think it's fairly safe to assume they didn't make the best of them.

Cleveland totally blew that Richardson selection. Good for them getting at least a late 1st rounder back for him.

But if I'm not mistaken, you are a Redskin fan discussing how a team blew the 2012 draft....not THAT is rich.

In the 2012 draft, here is what the Redskins potentially traded away in the RG 3 trade.

They get ALL of these players for RG3.

    Luke Kuechly
    Alshon Jeffery
    (or Bobby Wagner)
    Star Lotulelie (or Sheldon Richardson)
Jadaveon Clowney (or any one else they may want at #2 overall this year)

One of the worst trades in modern history.

Rumor has it that the Browns front office are pretty much a group of A holes. Lombardi especially. And then you add Haslam's legal problems to the mix and maybe it is not a surprise that no one really wants the job.

So does that mean I'm not allowed to have an opinion? Considering, also, the Redskins 2012 draft class already has a Division Championship under their belt.

But this is about the Browns. Try to stay on topic...

You don't know that. You don't know what Cleveland offered the Rams to move up to the #2 spot that year. Obviously what they offered wasn't as much as Washington offered. Even if the Browns included the #22 pick they used on Weeden it wouldn't have been worth what the Redskins were offering.

Wow, is that for real? I honestly never took a look, but what a haul of talent!

    Yep

They traded first rounders in 2012, 2013, and 2014...plus the 2012 second rounder too.

They should've given their DC the job. Their defense was great....

Weeden and Richardson were mistakes. Not sure why the guy turned them down. Maybe his wife and kids didn't want to go.
