I can't help but think "this guy is Demarcus Ware if Ware had a mean streak".

He's a beast and I'd love for him to be a Cowboy in '14.

Wait a minute... Edwards has a son that is ALREADY in college?

What'd he do, impregnate someone when he was 12??

Keep dreaming people. As much as I'd love it, Clowney is not going to be a Dallas Cowboy. He'll be a top 3 pick in next April's draft, with a good chance of being #1 overall, depending on who's drafting. And, no awful team is going to trade their first pick next year to us to move up a little bit in this year's draft. I'm sorry to take the wind out of your sales, but it's not happening. :nono2:

    I was surprised, too.

But when you hear Mario Edwards, Jr. (6-4, 290) and he's a Seminole, it's pretty obvious.

Rio just turned 37 in December and Jr. was born in 1994, so dad was 19 years old.

Jr. was the premiere DE recruit in 2012, too.

Wow. Just wow. I'm foaming at the mouth already. I want him on this team.

    Never gonna happen though.

    Nope.

If eligible, he'd be the #1 overall selection this year.

One big hit does not make a guy a world beater.

I take it you two haven't watched him play before? Ever?

Trade Ware and our 2014 1st rounder for Clowney.

You thought wrong. I have watched him several times. Maybe more than you. I just don't get excited about a player that is not going to be in this draft and Dallas will never get.

No .. but he also leads the SEC in Sacks ... so yea ... this kid is probably the best D line prospect since Reggie White

Clowney is a beast.......but if we're dealing with facts, Jarvis Jones led the sec in sacks

Buy a clue, Clowney would easily be the number player in the 2013 NFL draft if he were age elgible.

Jarvis Jones scares me with the neck injury issues... I'd take Clowney all day over him.

I would too, was really just pointing out that Clowney didn't lead the SEC in sacks.

FWIW, the neck issue doesn't worry me. Chris Samuel and Michael Irvin had long careers with the same narrowing of the spinal cord.
