All running QBs get injured. It is just a matter of time.
This is a terrible contract, the implications of which, will be massive to the other BETTER quarterbacks who are nearing the end of their deals.
And y'all say Romo's overpaid?! Romo is twice the QB Kaepernick is.
You're right, he's not a 100 million dollar QB, he's a 120 million dollar QB.
First throw aint there, run!
Is that worth that much?
Kaep can play, but c'mon SF. The advantage you had was that he wasn't taking up too much cap space and you could keep the team stacked. It wasn't Kaep's QB play.
In looking at the details this is a fantastic contract for the 49ers can't believe Kaepernick's agent would agree to such a deal
Agreed. His body can't sustain this for more than 3 more years imo.
And those details are????
Isn't Cinderella, the little eagles minimum wage QB due for a new contract soon?
They have him on a year to year lease to put it simply, they can cut him any year they want with no cap ramifications.
Thanks. You have to read it and if he's hurt - 49'ers win.
Yep I'm really surprised he went for this deal
So it seems they are treating him like a high level RB / QB. Not a QB.
So even though the 49'ers have a good offensive system in place - If Kaepernack runs and is hurt they are off the hook.
Quite quickly. Maybe they saw what happened to RG3 and made a good decision.
And that is the contract type RG3 should get next time.
