I don't know. You know I'm an optimist by nature, but I think fixing our DL this offseason is a really tall order. Even getting the WDE we need in the draft--and we're not in a great position in the first round to do that at value--we're still going to be a few players shy of a full complement on defense. I think we can probably get to 'middling.' Meaning, we'll see more comfortable wins against bad or injured teams, and perhaps win 1-2 of the close games against other competitive-but-not-great teams. But I don't see how we're going to get good enough to beat a real contender (beyond the usual puncher's-chance) in the coming season. That's ok...10-6 and a playoff berth and decent showing would be ok if we're moving forward, generally. But I'd be happier if I could see a path to getting a lot better and really being competitive for 2014.
