It's gonna take at least one other player going to IR to make enough room to fit Montrae Holland anywhere!

I read that he's been working out and in good shape. At least he knows the offense. Probably a better fit than the other 2 guys that came in for a workout?

Is it stupid to think he could jump start the run game?

Well Nagy graded out as Pro Football Focus' worst run blocking guard so hopefully Holland can improve that a little bit???

So... does this mean Arkin starts and Holland is the backup? Or is Holland the starter? Either way... I feel a cringe coming on.

edit: not due to injury, but mentally along with lack of experience and strength

lol, Holland has always played well when given the chance here. He has not been able to stay healthy though, otherwise he'd be starting and we would not have signed Dockery.

The bad news is, nobody else picked him up so he's obviously not too good. This appears to be a stop gap until Dockery gets up to speed. It sounds like Dockery will only miss one more game. If that's the case, Holland is a solid pick up as a back up, imo.

This is why the preseason hype on players is always so confusing. First it was Arkin who was slated to start cause he showed so much promise and poise. Then the news machine switched up and said Nagy was the man and was definitely a starter but this was only after Arkin got hurt and couldn't start.

So dangit... which is it and why is there so much flip flopping? Goodness... PR for an NFL team seems like a 24/7 job in order to spin everything for a positive outlook on a team.
