There's a difference between being stat obsessed and acknowledging that stats are actually relevant.
I'm not sold on his arm strength and his overall size, especially liking to run around a lot.
But I will say I enjoy watching him play in college and he could turn into a great qb, I'm no expert and may end up liking him more in the future.
I think some people just like to base discussion of the worth of an individual player on objective measures of his performance.
It's hilarious that some "fans" are calling a guy who went from an UDFA to being worth nearly 9 figures by the time he hits his mid 30s a failure. He'll probably go on to a fairly lucrative career in golfing after this. I sure as hell wish I could fail like this guy.
Careful...entering real data and logic into the discussion is not allowed.
Oh and nevermind all the team records he failed his way into breaking.
It's all I got.

That's 27 names in the whole history of professional football, and that number will only keep shrinking.
Talk about yer shrinkage.
It's like a bunch of teenage girls. Teenage females always find something to complain about.
"I'm fat, but I'm hungry"... "omg why wasn't he the only one on the song! ***"
I swear we are not dealing with men on this site. If we are, it's the pansy variety that still needs to get the booboo kissed by mommy, and the peanut butter and jelly sandwich while on the computer/cowboys zone for lunch
And just in case it isn't clear, Romo has been starting only seven years. So he's been in the top 10 in all but one year as a starter.
And he was only 11 attempts short of qualifying in 2010. If his injury had occurred later in that game, he'd already be at 7 top 10 seasons.
I'm happy about the deal. Now I will wait for all the doubters to eat crow over the next 4-6 years.
Don't forget Romo fans are called Romo sexuals!!! Or Romo lovers. Hate and sex combined, now that's Awesome.
He wants to throw stones but then hide his Hands.
Perhaps you'd like to point me to my post where I called someone a "Romosexual"?
I thought that was bannable here.
Meh. Hopefully when we have a new GM and QB, I won't look towards the new Cowboys seasons with dread. At least Dez is there to keep me entertained.
Imagine romo wins a Super Bowl within the next year or two ? This forum will be up in arms and I can't wait.....
Uh, never said it was you. Relax.
Romo can use half of that guaranteed money to pay for health bills unless guard and rt gets addressed.
All these stats but I'll just link one video:
There's only ONE person to blame for this play. When is enough going to be enough? Sometimes players/teams just need to move on and have a change of scenery. This is not "hating" or "whining". Just a fair opinion.
We should've played out the season and if he somehow helped us win a SB then resign him. If it's another choke job then move on. Trade a draft pick for M.Flynn for all I care. Draft someone. Sure worked fine for the Seahawks and 49ers. Just get someone new behind center. Some of you act as if it's IMPOSSIBLE to find a replacement. Give me a break....
How many times do we have see this multiple INT in the biggest game of the season by him? I mean look at this INT!....
