Interesting. He got wrecked when we played the Bears a few years ago, but I haven't paid attention to him.

Probably pretty cheap. Drafted under Marinelli.

Wow. Two signings posted in the past minutes after days of nothing. Is he a 1-tech in our defense? I don't know much about him other than people liked him a few years ago.

    Maybe only on passing downs.

Thornton is the 1-tech vs the run.

Paea has 2 combined sacks in the past 2 years. 14 in his 6 year career with 6 coming in one year with the Bears. Is he any good of a pass rusher? Seems like solid depth and a decent replacement for McClain but nothing special. We should still draft a DT if a good one is there.

    I know this Michael. GOSH

Actually he's just a rotational guy, he'll get some snaps on run downs.

    He's basically a McClain replacement.

Yeah, pretty much. Not as good vs. the run as McClain, but certainly a better pass rusher from the inside.

    Yep.

He's got a little more juice in his caboose, that's for sure.

Well, at least he already comes with a Marinelli name built-in.

Solid rotation guy. I know people here think all signings should be for all-pros...but that's not how we operate anymore.
