Well, he's undersized but he has some experience. I always kinda saw him more as an HBack Type. IDK. Churn... churn.... churn......

A decent vet -- guys like this that keep themselves in the league are usually pretty good workers.

Meh. Hopefully at best he is our 4th tight end.

I think you just unintentionally slighted Colin Cochart. :)

I remember this guy catching a TD pass against us in 2009 at Cowboys Stadium from Jake Delhomme.

Nice solid role player to fall back on just in case something happens

He won't hold a roster spot over the top 3, this doesn't make much sense to me. Maybe just seeing if there is any gas in the tank in case somebody gets hurt?

More indication Dallas won't carry a fullback next year, and that the 12 offense well be the base offense.

    Dante Rosario
    6'3-1/4", 244 in pre-draft measurements
    6'4, 250 on nfl.com

Does not appear to the be measurements of a blocking TE

I definitely think we are keeping 4, we also got BJ Stewart and we tried to get DC Jefferson too, that is a whole lot of TEs.

When you want to implement the 12 offense heavily into your gameplan, TE's become very valuable. Look at NE that last couple years scooping up anyone with a TE designation!

Stewart was just a workout guy, they never signed him. I believe Colin Cochart's been the #4 guy.

Yeah. Gotta wonder about Vickers'(or any FB for that matter) spot on the roster. Looks like they may want to go 4 deep at TE and are churning the bottom of the roster for the best fit at that 4th TE spot.

Either that or they go only 4-5 deep at WR. Looks like those WRs like Beasley and Coale are going to have to make the staff want to keep them around. No WR is going to make it just because he happens to be 5th on the depth chart this season.

I checked the Patriots 53 man roster last season and they often went with only 4 WRs, 4 RBs and 4 TEs. No FB.

I think the fact that they have Zero backup FBs on the roster is a sign. Vickers just had surgery but they have Zero backups...

Yeah. Agreed. What do you think about WR? Do they follow the NE model of keeping only 4 WRs?
