I will never forget the days on CZ shortly after he made the switch to LT and according to many here he was nothing short of a bust, the experiment was a failure, he needed to be moved back to RT, and it was all just another example of our FO's incompetence.

Signs were pointing to the Dallas Cowboys excising the fifth-year option on left tackle Tyron Smith’s rookie contract. Late Thursday night, ESPN Dallas reported that the Cowboys have made that move.
Smith’s contract will now run through the 2015 season, fully guaranteeing $10.039 million in the final year, which is equal to the transition tag for offensive linemen in the 2014 season. Smith’s base salary in 2014 is $2.079 million.

sounds good to me...helps to give another year to get the contracts of the team in order...they can focus on Dez now and then get ty on board long-term next season
That article is wrong. The 10 million is only guaranteed for a whole year injury.
