Then there is the possibility that this is a potential practice squad shuffle with no roster implications.
But when people are discouraged, they see it in everything.
I'd say this is probably accurate information. Aaron Wilson is an outstanding follow on Twitter. He has more information about workouts than anyone I've seen on the web.
He covers the Ravens for the Baltimore Sun and the NFL for Fox Sports/Scout.com, so it isn't like he is some wanna be throwing things at the wall to see what sticks.
I'd recommend anyone on Twitter to follow him.
Hopefully one of them is Darren Woodson. LA and Erick Williams would be nice too.
Whats wrong with this? I think they should be looking 24/7/365
Maybe they find diamonds among trash.
apparently its their expertise since they have over 13 UDFA on the 53
Maybe they are doing it Friday to make the players paranoid about possibly losing their spots and playing harder against Baltimore? Sounds odd but you never know. Doing it early last week would not have long lasting effects. Doing it right before the game will have it on their mind.
Has anyone noticed that in the Twitter age not one free agent player has tweeted that he is getting a look with the Cowboys on Friday? A day that they will be traveling to Baltimore.
My inside sources tell me they are looking to replace the current water boy and are actively working out potential candidates. Apparently, the current Aquatic Engineer is not serving high-quality H2O!
We need a pickle juice boy.
The new magic elixir these days is jalapeno juice. :
Those players are Ratliff, Coleman, Kowalski, Costa, Wilber, Jones and the others who are coming back. It's been so long, that people think they are new guys.... :laugh2:
Don't know why anyone would be upset about this either way. I wouldn't care if they brought in 76 guys. This team needs to be looking for ways to improve. Churning the roster is one way it can happen.
Our sources need to communicate...mine told me it was to replace Rowdy....:laugh2:
Never heard of them. Are they any good?
Exactly. They should've been working out players the minute after the bears game.
The idea of bringing in some players and looking at them is not the issue.
I doubt you would find too many people who would be upset with that, although this is the cowboys forum so I am sure there will be some that will complain no matter what.
The issue some have with it is the timing.
If you want to look at some players you had all last week to bring in some players...sign one if you want and then give them a few days to gel with the players, unit and learn the playbook even if it is in a minimal level.
Not waiting till Friday knowing you have a game on Sunday.
Hope that makes sense.
We can have a look on Ratliff, Coleman and Jones they could at least backup our starters.
