Well thank goodness we got that immensely important info out there to the press. Wouldn't want to put the horse before the cart, that's not how we do it in Big D.

This smells of Jerry trying to lure and reassure a specific DC that things will be different in Dallas this time.

    Lovie Smith perhaps?

Ray Horton is being bantered about. Another 3-4 guy, but Jason is close to him.

Please give me the 4-3. Pretty please.

Opinion. You don't fire Rob without something lined up, and now all coaches have to be interviewed by new DC.

The front doesn't make a damn bit of difference.

......the offense needs to be addressed more so that the defense...but i guess i'll hold my say until the offseason is over

All I want to see is an aggressive and tough defense that gets turnovers. That's it. 3-4. 4-3. Whoever can provide us with aggression and turnovers gets my vote.

Front does, scheme doesn't. I presume that is what you meant, because one indicates talent and the other indicates strategy with the talent.

I wouldn't even classify it that was (Offense/Defense).

I'd just say "our trenches need upgrading" and get what we can in the trenches on both sides of the ball, through FA and the Draft.

I don't care if we sign 23 Guards this offseason, if Chance Warmack is available and they pass on him I'll freaking inject botox directly into Jerry's brain.

    You got it backwards.

You can have multiple different scheme within any given FRONT. So the scheme DOES matter (you must have the players to fit a particular scheme, ie a MLB that can cover in a Tampa 2), but no FRONT is better than the other. It all depends on if you have the personnel to run that front (ie a DE in a 3-4 won't necessarily be effective as a DE in a 4-3).

A 4-3 is not a SCHEME. A 3-4 is not a SCHEME. They are fronts.

i agree both trenches need to be the TOP priority this offseason. what we did for the secondary we have to do for the trenches, gaurds, centers, and a nose tackle
