I can't wait for the renovation to be done. I quit riding the Giant years ago due to the INSANE bumpiness of it. Bruised ribs if you put your hands up. Looks like it will be smooth again with a new metal track.

The 1st drop is 78 degrees (I believe), but it looks 90degrees. I can't freaking wait to ride this bad boy (no homo)!!!!!

Pretty much any wood roller coaster is going to be very bumpy. The wood frame just has a lot of flexibility. Much more than a metal roller coaster. From the ground you can see the wood structure sway to and fro quite a bit as the coaster passes by different areas of the track. It is pretty cool to watch. For some it is a little bit disconcerting.

Soon as it's finished, it will be time to make another trip to Texas!

You can park at Six Flags, ride rides, then walk to the Cowboys game. That'd be a helluva Sunday Funday!!

I agree. I love the ride but it would scramble your brain like no other wooden coaster. That drop looks sweet! You've got me wanting to make a trip to SF. I haven't been in about 5 years and I used to go at least twice a summer.

Now if they would just bring this one back...:laugh2:

I was pissed when they changed it from spelunkers cave to a looney tunes version.

Wow that is Titan-like steepness! Surprisingly, the Texas Giant is the only rollercoaster there that I haven't been on. I guess I figured I'd rather wait in a long line for the Titan.

Well isn't that nice. Even more reason for me not to ride it. :)
