What a horrible draft. Mario was the only decent player we drafted and he was a PI machine.

Troy Aikman's last season as a Cowboy. I still miss him. I wish the team had been better managed and equipped to give him a proper farewell. Somehow the winningest QB of the 1990's deserved better than Dave Campo, Jack Reilly, and Larry Lacewell.

I kept thinking Jerry would renegotiate and Troy could play a couple more years. It's a shame injuries, poor decisions, and awful coaching took that chance away from us as fans.

In my opinion he is now the best color analyst on TV. Just like Troy to always strive to be the best.

First game set the tone for the entire season: blowout loss; Aikman concussion; torn ACL for Galloway. The Xmas night game was the most mailed-in performance I've ever witnessed.

To this day I have never understood why he was even on the field that late in a blowout. :banghead:

It wasn't that late in the game. But this was perhaps the worst start I have ever seen. I know the 2002 start was bad for a lot of fans, but this was an Aikman-led team and we had high hopes that year coming off a playoff appearance.

My favorite game of the year was the first Redskins game. Monday night, Randall Cunningham at QB and they took it to the Skins. Hooray!

IIRC It was in the 4th Q and we were already down by like 30 pts.

Maybe I was thinking about Aikman's injury. I didn't make much effort to remember this game as you can tell.
