Demarcus Ware........why do I know that name?

Its nice to look at a draft and be able to say, "yeah, it's got a hemi."

In all seriousness though...Ware and Spears are starters. Burnett is an adequate backup. Barber is a nice complimentary back. Canty is a starter. We got 16 starts (for better or for worse) from Petitti. And Ratliff is a nice rotational player.

The MNF game versus the Eagles was a great game. Remember Roy Williams' late interception for the winning score?

Me and a poster from here named El Chevo were at a local haunt called the Cat House watching that game. There was an extremely obnoxious Eagles fan there. Every time the Eagles did something he liked he would get right in front of any Cowboys fan he saw, flex his muscles in front of him and stick his tongue out, while expelling a growl of some sort. When Roy Picked that off he grabbed his cell and keys and left. I asked his buddy, a Cowboys fan, where he went. He said he couldn't take it.

    Typical Eagles fan.

2005 was an exciting season to say the least. Seemingly every week the game came down to our last possession. If a few breaks had gone our way we could have won 10 11 or maybe even 12 games. We also just as easily pulled out some games that we were pretty lucky to win, so we could have been a six or seven win team. So, in retrospect 9-7 was probably where this team belonged.

That 35-7 wipeout by the Skins, a game we were never remotely prepared to play, shook my faith in Parcells forever. We easily could have lost three other games that we won that year (SF, KC, and at Philly). Even Cundiff tried to give away the Carolina game.

That washington game was just brutal. After an emotional win over Kansas City, everything that could go wrong did. It's almost as if the team forgot how to play football overnight.
