Probably trying to negotiate Bledsoe's release from the team.

    That's my guess.

Doubt they will do it but If so, I could see Bledsoe on a plane to Oakland today to take over for the rest of the season as a Radier.

    They need a QB.

I know he's your fave player, but if he walks out, I lose all respect for him.

while i've not been a bledsoe supporter, i simply cannot see him being a whiney baby about this. i hope he'll finish the year and then do whatever he feels he needs to do. otherwise, maybe we trade bledsoe to seattle for their 3rd string qb or something.

i'd like to think bledsoe wouldn't do this - but we'll see as the week unfolds.

I can't say I would blame Drew, but yes I would lose respect for him as well.

One thing that can be taken from this, if he does indeed leave, that could be seen as a slight ray of sunshine.

If he does leave, there is no way bill can go back to him.

In other words he sticks with Romo as the starter to see what we have.

They didn't let Ellis go, I doubt they just let Drew walk.

Parcells will keep him and hope he can talk Drew off the ledge in the coming weeks IMO.

Unless Bledsoe just retires, which is a possibility. I don't see him going to a team like the Raiders just to get beat up for another year, and Bledsoe has stated several times this is his last NFL stop.

And I think Oakland sticks with the youth movement. Besides, Oakland's offensive line is suspect as well.

I'm happy to see Bledsoe the statue go, he's not my type of new age QB, these QB's now have to be able to scramble around in the pocket a lot of time in order to get the pass down the field.....

i think we all feel if drew walks, he leaves all respect he's built in 14 years behind. now, if i'm running an NFL franchise, would i *want* a qb who's known to walk if he doesn't get his way on my team?

I totally agree .. If he wants out I will lose all respect for him as well. I mean even if he loses the starting job now, there are no guarantees he won't get it back in a few games or even sooner. A lot can happen before the end of the season.

No one likes to ride the bench but giving up just because something bad happen to you is a horrible lesson on life to teach anyone, especially his kids.

Bledsoes a whiny little ...hes had plenty of shots to get it right and has failed to produce. Move over and let the other guy have a shot and do it with a little class. Ive never been a Bledsoe basher but this guy is acting like a baby...if this indeed the route he chooses to take.

You couldnt write a movie with more drama in it than the 2006 Cowboys season contains. Every day something new and more rediculous seems to happen.

If he's retiring, will he care?

He's made no secret that he was miserable watching Brady from the bench and wouldn't do it again. Or that he'd walk away from the game if it came to that again.

    This could get interesting.
